Foods to release water retention:  Celery, Parsley, Onions, Eggplant, Asparagus and, Watermelon.   Also Alcoholic beverages but, in moderation.

    Ginger, Carrots, Fennel, Asparagus, Cucumber, Cranberry Juice, Broccoli
    to your list of foods that have natural diuretic properties.
